“‘Short’ climbers rule. Tall people may have it easier in some respects, they are held back by their height in other areas. Many over use their height, and as a result their technique and their foot work suffers. Being ‘short’ requires you to know how to use your body. Get strong, get flexible, and know how to use your body to its advantage. Dont climb like other people climb. Climb how YOU climb.”
So much of this. We work more at skill and don’t need to rely on reach to send a route. Everyone’s got their own way. Such is the joy.
