Spending too much time on Tumblr? Well now you can make your procrastination time a little more productive by perusing USMLEpathslides. It’s well organized and pretty useful for studying, from what I’ve seen, so check it out!

Ok, I’ll admit, my first reaction to this recommendation was: “Ugh, pathology slides. So glad I don’t have to pretend to understand those anymore.” 

Then I checked out the website. HOT DIGGITY DOG, it’s not JUST pathology slides! There’s gross anatomy pictures, physical exam findings, radiology images — it’s a veritable cornucopia of visual study aids! And so well-organized that it just about makes me nauseous with envy.

“YOU NEED STUDY FOR STEP 1, YOU HATE READ BOOK? YOU GO THIS WEBSITE FOR WHILE!”

I was about to say yes! I’m studying for Step 1! Then I realized I was happy about studying for step 1. That made me sad. But I was happy that the one distraction I’ve limited myself too has also become a study tool! Life’s just up and down.

I was checking the answers to my exam earlier,

and a student came in, looked at their one or two wrong answers, complained, and audibly stated “well at least that was the only one I got wrong.” Then left.

It didn’t help that I already find the owner of the voice (and the voice itself) extremely annoying.

Seriously? Ugh. Sometimes…

I forget that just because we’re in a professional school doesn’t mean that everyone here acts professionally. 

I find that all this studying and increase in stress levels makes me complain more. Sigh. 

BUT! I wouldn’t rather be learning about anything else! It’s crappy at times, but at least the things I’m learning are so interesting. Glad I’m still here. Overall? Still happy. ^_^

I was checking all my answers before they realized their mistake: 

1. wrong. 2. wrong. 3. wrong. 4. wrong. 5. wrong…. 

Oh buggercrapshit&*#$^@.

I’m glad it was a mistake. But going through that did not do anything good for my mental health. Fifteen minute freak out session over.

All we need to know for our Path exam tomorrow. Minus the histo/gross photos of course. Extreeeeeme condensing!   Fits onto a notepad page, and I still can’t get it to stick in my head. >_<
