Support Our Troops of the Day: 63-year-old Vietnam vet Bob Garon of Epson, New Hampshire, confronts Mitt Romney during a recent campaign stop in Manchester over the GOP presidential candidate’s support for the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act, and his desire to see the repeal of New Hampshire’s same-sex marriage law.

If the law is repealed, and existing same-sex marriages are no longer recognized, Garon’s significant other, Bob Lemire, whom he married in June, would be denied medical and burial rights granted to heterosexual spouses.
