Zombie preparedness..
Joe: i was watching 28 days later during lunch. i decided that if a zombie apocalypse ever occurred, i'm running to your place and going wherever you go, as long as you're not a zombie yourself since you're the most knowledgeable about zombies that i know
Jay: Knowing what I know about a zombie apocalypse, I would be compelled to, unfortunately, drive you away from my place of residence. As a non-family member, you will always be a potential threat to A: double-crossing, B: a drain on horded resources, C: a potential threat in life-or-death situations. Janna and I and our downstairs neighbors, Ricky and Andi , already have our zombie preparedness plan in place and cannot accommodate any further persons. This plan also includes the immediate termination of Ricky, as he has already expressed that he would shoot any of us in the leg as zombie bait if we were ever to be overrun. So you are right, I am knowledgeable and already have plans in place....but as you can see, I unfortunately already have plans in place.
Joe: me double cross? NEVER.....
Jay: Again, Joe, as I said...there are already plans in place. I am sincerely sorry.
Joe: damn you!
Jay: Good luck to you.

“Can you please tell all your fellow students something for me? Tell them to look...”
– My grandmother. Sounds like common sense, but a lot of people fail on this. Your patients can’t follow your advice if they never heard it to begin with.  (via wayfaringmd) It’s the little things we sometimes forget, but that still make such a difference.

Commentary: Jeremy Lin matters to Asian-Americans →
But prejudice is such a powerful thing that the memories of it stay with you long after the words have been spit out. A good quick read.

Holy crap. Jlin you are ridiculous!
He’s got clutch he’s got smarts he’s got teamwork and he’s got humility. Linsanity is right! After the comeback in this game I’m sold. This guy is fun to watch!  http://www.nba.com/video/games/raptors/2012/02/14/0021100420_nyk_tor_recap.nba/

itsglitz replied to your video: This is a game called Hammerschlagen. It’s… It’s also simply called “stump” in the south. Why aren’t you throwing the hammers and why on earth did you play this indoors? Stump is easier to say but Hammerschlagen  sounds so much cooler. We had to play a modified version, and to be safer we decided not to throw the hammers. Yes, we did think about some safety....

WatchWatch
This is a game called Hammerschlagen. It’s apparently a variation of Nailspielenm which is played with an Axe, instead of a hammer. Basically (as you can see) we take turns trying to nail in a nail with a hammer into a stump. The loser has to take a shot, while the 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place people get to dish out 3 shots, 2 shots, and 1 shot respectively.  This is what medical...

“Wow, I was surprised! You’re actually, like, good!”
– -another player at volleyball.  I guess they were trying to pay a compliment. But, wtf? Um, thanks? You thought I sucked because I was tiny? I’m not that good, I know I have to do better, but some people are awkward. I don’t know why I’m still surprised at an older age people...
